Reflection: This assignment was fairly simple for me due to the fact that I have a lot of things that bug me. I think one of the main challenges was for certain bugs it is easy to blame people for being lazy or selfish and much harder to come up with a reason for why they behave in a certain way.
Nice work on your bug list Kristie. I did notice many of your why responses were regarding peoples actions that seemed your opinion and not necessarily true to the why of the situation. Possibly looking at the bug from a different perspective would give you insight as to why it actually exists. I completely agree with your bug regarding automated customer service systems. It takes time out of your day you cannot get back going through multiple menus to get your issue resolved.
ReplyDeleteI think your bug list is very similar to mine in that people's inactivity, laziness, and inability to fulfill their job positions in a successful manner really bothers me. I found myself trying really hard to think of things that bothered me and not point out why someone was responsible.I cannot believe people are parking in handicapp parking spaces illegally, that is an incredibly selfish and ignorant thing to do.
ReplyDeleteHello Kristie,
ReplyDeleteYour bug list is very well thought out and easy to relate to. Some of your listed "bugs" are things that can be easily taken advantage of for profit. A lot of them are about social change, not so much products not working or a glaring need for a service, but can be worked for benefit of everyone. Children's programs that influence them to behave better or more powerful heat lamps at restaurants is a prime example to solve some of the "bugs."
